My intentions have been both positive and pure though I must say this has been a pain in the behind!!! I am thankful for all of the people that have helping me for the past year. Ridding my plastic bag habit was the impetous behind this project. Lately I have not been using the bags that I am making as they are either being used as samples for the sewing contractor, or being photographed. I am guilty of using paper bags the last few weeks! What an education I have received while searching for the perfect fabric that was 1. organic, 2. available. There are a very limited number of choices for truly organic materials in a heavy weight woven. It is so nice to see that the tide is changing and people are wanting certified organic!

Wow, this has been a learning experience!  The idea of producing reusable bags out of organic fabric was the original idea. Now eight months later it is finally happening.   I now feel like I am an expert in organic fabric, customs, sewing contractors, labels, tags.  As painful as it has been at times I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am so excited.  The reusable, farmers market, and shopping bags will be ready in a week.  The Tigmi baskets are selling!  People are ready for reusable bags.  Thank you everyone for your patience and support.  Replace plastic bags with simple peace bags.
